Blessed in this journey

It was spiritual journey, we had enough time to go around town, attend a mass, eat lunch. timing was perfect for the mass. there were arranged time for rest stops for bathroom breaks. we felt safe with the driving of Luigi. And Francesco M was our guide, he was informative and sensitive to the needs of my Aunt. we used a lift when available. Thank you for your kind attention. Will be glad to recommend the trip.

Incredible Pompeii day trip

We had no idea what to expect in Pompeii but never imagined how much of the city had been restored. Our Pompeii tour guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about his city. He shared insights as former archaeologist — what a treat! Our host, Maria Luisa, was so fun and engaged for a long day. Maria Luisa adjusted to show us places and provide history tidbits to help us understand Roman history. Both she and our driver Flavin were very attentive to our needs from bio breaks to coffee stops. I would highly recommend this tour — ask for Maria Luisa.

Super VIP once in a lifetime day trip from Rome

The Rome Italy Explora Team was extremely helpful in helping us plan our day tour from Rome out to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast prior our arrival from the United States. The coordination before our pickup was seamless and the pickup was excellent.

Francesco was our escort guide for the day and Luigi was our professional chauffeur. They both did a fantastic job making our couples trip truly feel VIP and special. They connected us with a 40 year veteran guide of the archeological site at Pompeii and an amazing lunch reservation after the tour in Pompeii.

Please treat yourself to this once in a lifetime experience and feel like royalty for the day with the Explora team. It is worth EVERY penny! We have traveled the world and regularly use guide services, and they are the best we have encountered.

Super passeggiata tra palazzi e intrighi

Interessante e divertente tour tra Via Giulia e Piazza Navona. Piccolo gruppo con auricolari per ascoltare la bravissima guida in totale sicurezza. Una bellissima passeggiata!

PASSEGGIANDO TRA LE VIE INSOLITE DI ROMA

Passeggiare tra le vie e i vicoli di Roma è stato stupendo ed interessante una Roma che pochi conoscono , storie di Papi , di piazze come Piazza dell’Oro con la chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, via Giulia, Piazza Farnese, Campo dei Fiori e infine piazza Navona Grazie alla nostra guida Francesca preparata che ci ha fatto rivivere quei tempi a molti sconosciuti

My mom had requested to visit Europe for her 70th birthday.  We didn’t have the resources to travel until recently so I wanted to make this a memorable trip for her, while still on a budget.  Fortunately for us, we were able to do it before the covid pandemic took hold of the world.

As I was researching and booking tours, I met Rossana.  She was very communicative and informative, and I ended up booking three private tours with her: (1) Roman Basilicas, (2) Padre Pio and St. Michael the Archangel Sanctuary, and (3) Assisi and Cascia.  She even helped me navigate how to attend an audience with my mom and the Pope.

Rossana and Luigi treated us like family!  They met us promptly in Rome, picking us up and dropping us off at our hotel.  They brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate my mom’s birthday, which my mom later left for Padre Pio.  They were very accommodating to my mom’s mobility needs and provided a wheel chair.  At all times, I felt my mom was safe in their care.

Rossana was very knowledgeable and conveyed her knowledge about every location we went.  It was clear that she is passionate about Italy, it’s culture, and it’s history.  The Roman Basilica tour was a great way to see an overview of the city as well.

One of the benefits of the private tours was being able to stay in an area as long as we wanted, which also gave us time to pray when we visited my mom’s favorite saint, Padre Pio, and my favorite saint, St. Francis of Assisi.  It also meant we had the opportunity to eat at some delicious family-run restaurants.

On our journey to visit St. Francis, St. Claire, and St. Rita, we bumped into a church group visiting from Naples, first helping them take group photos and then as we prepared for evening mass at Cascia.  Rossana was incredible, stepping in to interpret for us.  When we met again at a gas station on our way back to Rome, we made plans to visit them in Naples and Rossana agreed to be our guide.

I cannot thank Rossana and Luigi enough for making my mom’s birthday truly an enjoyable and memorable one!  We cannot wait to go back and see Naples with Rossana and Luigi when it is safe to do so!

Amazingly Beautiful!

Villa D’Este in TIVOLI is indeed a masterpiece. I am in awe when I see this beautiful garden. Lots of stories to tell, so much to admire in this place. On top of that, our guide made us appreciate this place more. She’s very knowledgeable.. makes you feel like you have been in this magical place for a long time.

Tour maravilloso

Estuve en Capri en Julio 2020 con mi familia. Fue una experiencia maravillosa. Salimos de Roma con una guía privada y con un autista che nos ha conducida hasta Capri. Después hemos tomado una embarcación para alcanzar la isla. En Capri visitamos sus lugares más famosos, los farallones también. Después de la visita de la isla hicimos un viajó en barco de tres horas para admirar todas las maravillas del mar de Capri y sus cuevas. Vimos también la Grotta Azzurra, la más bonita de Capri donde el mar es cristalino y lleno de peces. Fue todo perfecto y el servicio estupendo. Recomiendo este tour a todos porque Capri es una isla llena de lugares maravillosos y el mar es fantástico

Experiencia fantástica

En Enero yo y mis amigos hicimos este experiencia. Fue fantástica. Nos gustó muchísimo. Roma por la tarde es maravillosa, con todas sus luces. Y los romanos son muy simpáticos. Tuvimos una guía turística privada y también un autista privado. Todo fue perfecto. Todos son muy disponibles para satisfacer todas las solicitudes. Recomiendo este tour porqué está organizado muy bien.

SUPERB, FASCINATING & EDUCATIONAL

Our trip in May 2019 far exceeded our expectations with professional knowledgeable and friendly guides who accommodated all of our requests. Finally creating a slide show and realizing that we managed to see most if not all of the main attractions at three major sites in just one day. Impressive. Though Pompeii is the most famous, Herculaneum is not to be missed. Paestum, both Greek and Roman, is certainly the most fascinating from a historical and archaeological perspective. Just contacted the owner to identify an object in a photo and received an immediate answer. Impressive though typical of the service we received.

Santuario di Padre Pio

Abbiamo già usato Rome Italy Explora per fare una gita a Capri a luglio con degli amici e ci siamo trovati molto bene essendo un tour privato e quindi con più garanzie di sicurezza visto il periodo che il nostro paese sta vivendo. Abbiamo quindi deciso di fare un pellegrinaggio al santuario di Padre Pio utilizzando lo stesso servizio. E’ stata un’esperienza unica poter visitare la cripta dove il corpo di San Pio è deposto, un luogo di fede e speranza. Abbiamo potuto assistere alla messa nella Chiesa Grande, visitare la chiesetta dove Padre Pio celebrava le messe, nonchè visitare anche il museo dove sono contenute i ricordi del Santo. Servizio e professionalità dello staff sempre all’avanguardia.

Grande esperienza Udienza dal Papa.

Una bellissima esperienza all’udienza del Pontefice, emozionante e toccante. Tour svolto con tutta la famiglia accompagnati dalla meravigliosa Rossana e l’autista Luigi che oltre a guidarci in questo incantevole luogo di pellegrinaggio ci hanno regalato una sorpresa: la visita al santuario di San Michele Arcangelo a monte sant’angelo. Fare un tour privato è stata una decisione ottimale per poter visitare la stupenda città di Roma sotto le stelle. La nostra guida ci ha accompagnato tra piazze, monumenti e fontane effettuando una descrizione dettagliata tra storia, arte e curiosità. L’autista ci ha prelevato al nostro appartamento insieme alla guida.

Esperienza meravigliosa sull’ isola di Capri. L’autista è l’accompagnatrice dell’agenzia ci hanno prelevato e siamo arrivati a Sorrento dove ci siamo imbarcati per l’isola di Capri. Una volta sull’isola con un pulmino privato siamo saliti ad Anacapri per prendere la seggiovia per ammirare il paesaggio dal Monte Solaro. Scesi nella zona di Capri abbiamo visitato i Giardini di Augusto . L’esperienza meravigliosa è stato il giro privato con la barca per tre ore. Ci siamo tuffati nelle calette e visitato La Grotta Azzurra. Rientrati a Sorrento abbiamo cenato in un ristorante situato su una palafitta sul mare. Tour organizzato in modo professionale. Tour privato ottimo su tutti i punti di vista. Grazie Luigi e Rossana e Rome Italy Explora. ARRIVEDERCI!!

Capri in un giorno

Abbiamo fatto questo tour con la famiglia e gli amici a Luglio. E’ stata un’esperienza bellissima, abbiamo potuto visitare l’isola di Capri in completa tranquillità essendo un tour privato organizzato in modo eccellente. Il tour comprendeva anche il giro dell’isola su barca privata, è stato bellissimo poter fare il bagno in mare tuffandoci dalla barca e visitare la grotta azzurra. Bellissimo anche il tragitto fatto con la seggiovia per raggiungere le vette del Monte Solaro ad Anacapri. Ottima organizzazione, professionalità e simpatia.

Chiara war super. Sie ging auf die Kinder und Ihre Interessen und spontane Fragen ein und konnte alle Fragen spontan antworten. Die vatikanische Museen waren fuer Kinderverdaulicher als roemische Ruinen. (Bilder waren greifbarer.)

Fede e cultura

Buongiorno. Un santuario molto ben affrescato e ricco di storia situato sopra una collinetta. Ci siamo stati in orario di visita non guidata…peccato..sarebbe stato molto interessante..molto piacevole cmq…accessibile a tutti..

Mejores lugares religiosos y espirituales en Italia

El milagro eucaristico de Lanciano es uno de los lugares que el misticismo y espiritualidad que desafian las leyes fisicas se conjugan. El ver ese trozo de carne y sangre disecada te acerca más a Dios. Aqui no encontrarás atractivos arquitectonicos, pero si mucha fe. Creo que despues de la pandemia, sera un punto donde muchas personas iran para renovar su fe, dar gracias y hallar consuelo. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Last year my family and I did the Capri Private Day Tour from Rome. Rosanna was very helpful in taking care of all logistical issues and we were so satisfied that I wanted to write this review. We have done many tours around the world however we have found that Rome Italy Explorer was at the top. We would compare it with the premium company.

2 week tour with Rosanna and Luigi

My wife Nina and I spent 2 weeks with Rosanna and Luigi in May 2019 doing a number of private tours with them including:
– Various Rome tours including Vatican City, Colosseum, Roman Forum and Rome by Night
– Rome walking + Food tours
– Roman catacombs tour and Villa d’este
– Street food tour in Naples and catacomb tour
– Amalfi Coast tour
– Pompeii and Mount Vesuvio
– Catania and Mount Etna
– Valley of the Temples (Aggrigento)
– Siracusa, Noto and Calta Girone

We cannot recommend enough traveling through Italy with Rosanna and Luigi. They are warm, hospitable, punctual and endearing and they make you feel like family while over there. Rosanna was always happy to help us out from restaurant recommendations to arranging tickets for tours/museums.
This was the first time we had undertaken private tours and it was by far one of the best experiences and highlights of our trip! Highlights of our trip included Villa d’este (recommended by Rosanna) and visiting Sicily. Sicily is absolutely beautiful and was recommended by Rosanna as we were deciding between Sardinia and Sicily. We were glad we listened to Rosanna as it was one of our best experiences in Italy!
